Whether you have all the right dance moves or not, with Just Dance 2016 you can dance like a rock star.
The boys were so excited to try a new dance game, especially for the updated song list. From the first moment I tried it they were eager to jump in and join in on the fun. With up to four dancers allowed at one time they didn’t have to wait to take turns and we could all dance together.
Just Dance 2016 allows up to four players at one time, but those who play on Xbox One, Playstation 4, or Wii U can use the Just Dance Controller App to add two additional players just by using your smartphone to track your moves. The Just Dance Controller App is available in iTunes, Google Play, and the Windows Store.

Just Dance 2016 uses motion to control the game. We are an Xbox family so we used our Kinect sensor to control the game. The video game is also available on all motion-controlling gaming platforms for Xbox One, Xbox 360, Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Wii U, and Wii.
The most surprising song of all was the Angry Birds theme song. If your child is an Angry Birds fan, they can dance as Red Bird, Speedy Bird (Yellow Bird), Soko (Black Bird), and the Green Pig. As they dance, they bump into each other causing the stacks of dynamite behind them to fall and explode.
Earn high scores based upon your dance performance and challenge other players online to dance with you to see who has the higher score. Sharing your dance moves globally is an option for those who want to share their awesome moves.
With Just Dance 2016 you don’t have to worry about having a dance tutorial or a way to break down the moves for you. Just jump in and start dancing. When your song is finished you are given the option to save your video, share it with others, or just choose another song.
If you want to learn the lyrics, they play on the screen while you are dancing. They can also be turned off, just like the dance guide showing the upcoming moves can also be turned off for customized game play.
Each month has a challenge to participate in and December’s challenge has an online multiplayer dance floor throughout the month.
With personalized workouts including sweat mode, you can track your calories burned just by dancing.
The game is rated E10+ which is advised for everyone 10 years of age and older. The rating is for mild lyrics and mild suggestive themes.
Just Dance 2016 is a way to get your heart rate pumping to awesome songs and is one game we are excited to have in our collection because our family of four can all dance together, laugh, and create awesome family memories.
