Easy Chicken Pasta in 15 Minutes

Can you make a tasty and delicious meal in just 15 minutes? This was a challenge for me but it can be done. My Easy Chicken Pasta recipe received rave reviews from everyone in my family and we were excited to try out some new spices sent to us from Gourmet Garden.
Creating a 15 Minute Supper was easy when I focused on a few of my favorite ingredients: chicken, pine nuts, pasta, and broccoli.
For this recipe I had the pleasure to try herbs and seasonings from Gourmet Garden. Each herb and spices comes in a tube that is kept in the refrigerator or freezer. The ingredients are fresh tasting and my favorite is the Chunky Garlic and the Italian Herbs. Adding these two together creates a great combination and if you are a garlic lover then use the 2:1 ratio with 2 parts for the garlic.

Easy Chicken Pasta
Ingredients:
- 2 cups chicken pre-cooked or leftovers
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
- 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1 pound Giada De Laurentiis Organic Galletti Pasta
- 2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Gourmet Garden Chunky Garlic
- 1 Tablespoon Gourmet Garden Italian Herbs paste
- pinch sea salt
- pinch pepper
- Freshly grated Parmesan cheese to taste
Instructions:
- While waiting for the water to boil for the pasta, begin toasting the pine nuts in a small pan on medium low heat.
- In a large pan, add 1 teaspoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, sea salt, and pepper to cook the broccoli for 2 minutes to soften. Pull out of pan and set aside.
- As soon as the water boils add the pasta.
- Add 1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil to the same pan the broccoli was in and brown the chicken.
- When pasta is fully cooked at 9 minutes, drain and add to the pan of chicken. Add pine nuts, broccoli, 2 teaspoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil, chunky garlic, Italian herbs paste and mix well then serve.
- Add freshly grated Parmesan cheese to taste.
Serves: 6
Prep Time and Cook Time: 15 minutes
