Official LEGO® Channel: Create Playlists on YouTube for Kids

Create playlists on YouTube for Kids

Are you a LEGO® fan or a parent of kids who are? The Official LEGO® Channel was just released and is a fun new feature to create playlists on YouTube for kids or for the kid in you.

My boys are huge LEGO® fans and play with them every day. We are in the middle of organizing our LEGO® bricks and finding pieces to rebuild most of the sets they own. It has been a huge undertaking and it was nice to take a break and enjoy watching a few LEGO® videos.

YouTube is filled with millions of videos, but as you are probably aware not all of them are kid friendly. LEGO® is a brand that I trust and their videos are kid friendly and mom approved. The boys have seen many LEGO® videos, but having their favorites in one location that is easy to watch and provides portable entertainment is a great feature for busy moms on the go.

Creating a playlist on YouTube for kids is simple and fun. The hard part though is deciding what to include. There are 631 videos to choose from as of today. Our playlist could have been filled with almost all of them.

The Official LEGO® Channel playlist for our family includes:

  • LEGO® Star Wars™ – Beginning with Season 1, Episode 1
  • LEGO® Star Wars™ – The Yoda Chronicles
  • LEGO® Star Wars™ – May the 4th Be With You
  • LEGO® Ninjago – Mini-Movies
  • LEGO® City
  • LEGO® Hero Factory

By creating our playlist, the boys can watch it on the laptop or the Xbox. When we are on the go, they can watch it on my iPhone or the iPad. Any smartphone or tablet with YouTube access can help make waiting time more bearable for you.

How to build a playlist on YouTube for kids:

  • Visit Youtube.com/LEGO and watch one of your favorite videos
  • Click “Video Options”
  • Select “Add To Playlist”
  • Sign-In using your YouTube Login
  • Add your selected video to an existing playlist or create a new one

Tip: To prevent non-LEGO® videos from being recommended, build your playlist using only Official LEGO® Channel videos.

There is a lot of content on web; creating a playlist on the Official LEGO® Channel is a great way to ensure your kids are entertained and watching videos you can feel good about.

Visit the Official LEGO® Channel to build your own playlist to watch with your kids.
