Phoenix Suns Star Wars Night and a BB-8 Basketball

The Force Awakens Phoenix Suns BB8 Basketball

The Phoenix Suns have an exciting game tonight as they welcome the 501st Legion and the Rebel Legion for their Star Wars fan night. The Phoenix Suns Star Wars night opens at 7:30 pm at Talking Stick Resort.

Yesterday our family appeared in our Star Wars costumes on Fox 10 News at 8:40 am alongside two Phoenix Suns cheerleaders dressed as Princess Leia helping to promote the game.

After the newscast the Suns team surprised my boys by giving them the ball they held during the news cast. What a great surprise to take the Lucasfilm approved BB-8 basketball home with us. This is the droid basketball we’re looking for.

Phoenix Suns Star Wars Night Promotion

Be prepared for a night of fun with a massive amount of Star Wars characters to take pictures with and enjoy during the game. We’ve never done anything like this before so we have no idea quite was in store for the fans or for us.

If you are at the game watch out for a Jawa, a young Anakain Skywalker, and a young Han Solo. That is our family. There will also be plenty of Stormtroopers and Jedi too. There might even be a First Order Stormtrooper and Kylo Ren making an appearance, if they are not too busy promoting The Force Awakens.

Even though they never asked us to share this information with you, we just couldn’t help contain our excitement for an awesome combination of basketball and Star Wars. Our family loves basketball and cannot wait for the game tonight.

For all the details about the game tonight, costume contest, and how you can take home your own BB-8 basketball with the Phoenix Suns logo and The Force Awakens, please visit the Suns for more information.
