Stomp Out Bullying with Blue Shirt Day

Stomp Out Bullying’s Blue Shirt Day is October 3, 2016. This is the day to wear a blue shirt and show support to others who have been bullied. We are happy to partner with them to bring you this information.

Hatred and intolerance is never acceptable and is often a leading cause of bullying. By raising children who respect other people’s opinions we can have a world that embraces what makes each of us unique.

Unfortunately not everyone believes in equality or embracing uniqueness so we are often left in a world where bullies do exist, both in person and online. As our world becomes more dependent upon tech and social media, online bullying has increased and is expected to rise in the coming years unless we do something about it.

Raising awareness about bullying is something we can all do together to help both children and adults. Education, support, and prevention are three key factors to putting an end to bullying.
